501(c)(3) Section 25F Scholarship Granting Organization

Every summit starts with someone willing to climb.

Sierra Summit Scholarship Fund helps Northern Nevada families afford a Catholic education for their children — with priority given to students at Catholic classical schools in grades 6–12, and then to students at other Catholic schools throughout our region.

Our Mission

Opening the door to Catholic education.

We believe a family's financial circumstances shouldn't determine whether their children can receive a Catholic education. As a Section 25F scholarship granting organization, Sierra Summit connects generous donors with Northern Nevada students and families who need support with tuition.

We give priority first to students attending Catholic classical schools in grades 6–12, and then to students at other Catholic schools in our region — and every year, returning recipients and their siblings come first.

How We Award Scholarships

Two priorities guide every award

Classical school students
Priority One

Catholic Classical Schools, Grades 6–12

Students attending a Catholic classical school in Northern Nevada, grades 6 through 12, receive priority in every award cycle.

Catholic school students
Priority Two

Other Catholic Schools in Northern Nevada

Once priority-one awards are made, remaining scholarships go to students at other Catholic schools throughout the region.

Give Today

Help a student reach their summit — and earn a federal tax credit.

As a 501(c)(3) Section 25F organization, contributions to Sierra Summit may qualify you for a federal tax credit, not just a deduction. Every dollar we receive goes toward funding a Northern Nevada student's Catholic education.
