About Sierra Summit

Helping Northern Nevada families choose Catholic education.

Sierra Summit Scholarship Fund was formed on August 17, 2026 as a 501(c)(3) public charity and Section 25F scholarship granting organization. We connect donors with Northern Nevada families who need support affording tuition at a Catholic school.

Our Story

A new fund, built for the long term.

Sierra Summit Scholarship Fund is newly formed, and we're proud of it. We were established to take part in Section 25F, the federal tax credit program for scholarship granting organizations, and to direct that support toward Catholic education in Northern Nevada.

We expect to award our first scholarships in 2027, giving priority to students attending Catholic classical schools in grades 6–12, and then to students at other Catholic schools in our region. As a new organization, we're building this fund deliberately — with the accountability that Section 25F requires, and the community trust it takes to grow.

What We Value

The principles behind every decision we make

Catholic education, within reach

We believe cost should never be the reason a family cannot choose a Catholic education for their children.

Community rooted

We serve Northern Nevada families and partner closely with the Catholic schools our students attend.

Full transparency

We operate under the accountability rules of Section 25F and publish our governing documents for donors and families to see.

Continuity for families

Renewing recipients and their siblings receive priority each year, so a scholarship can support a family for the long term.

Governance

Board of Directors

Sierra Summit is governed by a volunteer board of directors, who serve without compensation.
